The Downhill Bike Ride Itinerary
The rides are offered every weekday throughout the year and on Saturdays at peak holiday times. Pick up time is 9.00 am from your accommodation in or near Benidorm where you will be driven to the top of Mt Aitana with a drinks stop along the way in the village of Sella.
After a safety talk you will be allocated your bike and safety helmet (remember to wear sensible shoes) and begin the first 5 mile leg of the ride to the village of Penaguila with 2 stops along the way. For lunch there is the option of bringing your own or enjoying a meal in the local Cannibals restaurant. The afternoon ride is 19 miles with 3 stops along the way to have a drink (spring water is available throughout the ride) and get some fantastic photos.
Journey Completion & Certification
The journey ends in the town of Orcheta where you will stop in a local bar for a well deserved beverage and to receive your Downhill Bike Ride Benidorm certificate of completion. You will then be driven back to your accommodation, arriving at about 3.30 pm.
